ridiculously over-powered power supplies.
are you serious? You know nothing of what I paid for mine. You know nothing of which builds I have used it in. Why are you saying this?
You're wrong here. The PSU and motherboard are places where most people waste money. Once you have a...
Darn you just never seem to get what I said!

So your plan would be to buy a 557W PSU? I was just using the 473w that you mentioned! AT the wall, so WHAT? Fine, go bare minimum and watch things burn...
and it's just not "my opinion" that one would need a "SAFETY MARGIN"
I have no wish to argue with you, recommend a 557W to the op...
asking for trouble if you will not overpower your 780's x 2 but suit yourself (wasn't kidding about x2 your draw...473 x 2 =946 ...in this day and age WHO buys Minimum for a great gaming rig?) but suit yourself's anyway you look at it, 750W is weak for 780Ti SLI
This is MHO only...feel...
Where you are going to find issues about trying to upgrade to 560 SLI is that you only have 1gig VRAM. BF4 recommends 3gigs VRAM. Even with 560SLI, you still only have 1gig VRAM. Just want to warn you that as the games become more VRAM dependent, you cannot get more out of these cards. I have...
1: Your i3 cpu would handle a gtx770/780 with just a little upgrade. Can you say PSU? Yes, either of those cards would let you game and blow the socks off the bedroom PC.
2: The difference between gaming with a dual core vs quad core is miniscule. No real need to switch if you want to save...
The weak link there is your choice of GPU card. Everything else looks fine. Is there any possible way you could shop around and come up with extra cash for the 650 Ti BOOST? Also you could start saving for a SSD of 250gigs. (sweet spot)
gtx650 = 80.0 GB/s
gtx650 Ti = 86.4 GB/s
GTX650 Ti...
My chime in:
1: Why are you buying a "k" CPU when you said "no overclocking"? You could save a few bucks buy not buying the "k"
2: At the very least, fill your RAM slots just to take care of the dirt. (You don't want people to snicker behind your back saying..."there goes the dirty slot...
could swap in a 77 MB to replace that 67 as it has better USB3 support and better RAM support. (I would not bother)(have you upgraded your BIOS yet? 3602? http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&s=39&m=P8P67%20DELUXE&os=29&hashedid=FpufhQASBFHNvccl
You could crank up the cpu...
In benchmarks it was discovered that the difference between dual core and quad core in gaming is miniscule. the games did not break down till they used single core. We are talking a 2 to 3 FPS drop only.
I3 is fine
streaming video is more about your internet provider as the lowest of lows GPU's can do this effortlessly. A better GPU card is all about gaming.
ps...just as a other thought!
When was the last time you reformatted your PC and brought it back to "new". I would imagine that your little SSD...
My chime-in: a choice whether to have faster loading times vs better Graphics. While a better/faster SSD will speed up the load times, it will do almost nothing for gameplay. $275 will not even buy you a great card like the 7970's/50's. (you could have bought one on Black Friday sale for under...
