Changing the boot order to HDD first CD second leaves the same problem, it still needs the WinXP cd to boot.

Uh oh...

In a moment of absentmindedness a magnet was placed on top of my tv, and now its got the rainbow color syndrome. Is there anyway to easily/cheaply fix this? It's a 19" Sony Trinitron from 1993.

Crucial PC2100 owners...How far have you overclocked your RAM?

172 fsb with turbo timings on an epox 8k3a+ with 3.2vdimm. Will do around 180 fsb with normal timings and 3.2vdimm. not bad for $35 pc2100.

XP 1800 vs XP 1600 @ newegg

I just picked up a XP 1600 from newegg, I got an ARIOA "4" stepping chip. Got it running at 1750mhz (10.5 x 166) at 1.8 vcore, once I unlock this thing I think 1900mhz is within reach!

Bleh...Geforce 2 GTS running in PCI mode in WinXP

I've had this problem, reinstalling the proper AGP mini port driver (if your motherboard requires it, ie a AMD 760 board) or reinstalling the 4in1's fixes it.

Ok, things are getting a little wierder. I was basing the not getting video part off the fact the monitor wouldnt wake up from sleep mode, but when I turn the monitor on i get an image, but its like the signal is out of sync or something and everything's garbled, and the monitor bitches about...

I've got a 300w Antec, could that be the problem? I find it hard to believe that the motherboard wouldnt be able to supply enough power, its brand new and lots of people run it with Ti4600's and such...

I've got a Gainward Geforce 4 Ti4200 and it's been giving me the strangest problems. I can't get any video when it's in my computer, but if I try to use the card in another computer it works perfectly. Other video cards work fine in my computer, and I'm sure the monitor is fine. What the heck...
