I was meaning you can buy a uhd TV for not much more.
Plus two screens is still cheaper depending on what you get. Personally since I have the desk space I prefer that. But that's just imo.
At the current prices I'd say hell no. You're only getting 25% more viewing area with about 2X the amount you would spend on a normal 16:9 monitor. Right now you can get a decent 4K 60" for not much more.
I'd wait until prices drop or just pick up a new 27" and wait it out.
$1300 for a...
It's funny. Ive had a dell 30" since 2005/6ish and have been running 2560x1600. Just picked up a 27" acer 1440p gsync 144hz ips panel and feel a bit of a downgrade. The vertical realestate is missed and with the panels sitting side by side the 30 is gigantic and much more immersive for...
I run witcher 3 on my 2500k just fine with a 780ti. Didn't even notice if there was a bottleneck in the processor as it just seems more gpu bottlenecked. My cpu is clocked to 4.5.
I have a 780ti and a 660ti for each computer. I'll be fine with just turning some settings down for this one. Not in the mood anymore to keep up with hardware as there really isn't much games coming out these days that seem worth it. This game however Ive been anticipating not for the...
I gave up on this whole vram debate. I buy the lower vram cards and have never had an issue. Issues I've had was turning down game settings because my card was to slow at maximum settings to run. But then again I don't need MSAA 8X or even 4X to enjoy a game. To me that's overkill in many...
Anyone else pick up the orginal TLC 840 and not having any problems with it? Bought this drive 2 years ago 250gb version and have only written just a bit over 3tb to the drive. The drive benches are a little slower than what they should be but the drive is still fast for everyday stuff I do...
I want a nice long big curved monitor that not only has high resolution, but has high refresh rates with gysnc/freesync. I think that would be awesome!!! As far as vr, never been a fan as I get motion sickness.
Another WMC user that used media browser that switched to Plex. Getting a plex pass and using my phone as a remote, or to carry all my library with me is a huge plus!!! Didn't really use wmc for the tv aspect of it though, but I do know Plex has a growing list of apps kind of like a smart box...
Yet AMD was raking in the cash during the mining craze. The reason why the sales are low is because it's been to long since they introduced the last cards and now you can find them second hand cheap. They need something new on the market. That's why Nvidia is killing them now. If they just...
Isn't directx 12 going to take more strain off the cpu and put it more on the gpu? Or am I wrong on this? I would say gpu for better performance. You will always gain performance unless you're on a dinosaur of a cpu where everything is bottlenecked. Tell him to get a freesync/gsync monitor...
So we're getting all these games in 2015 that look like games from 2012 that require much more vram.... Why is this? I don't see anything in Watch Dogs, or Dying Light that makes my jaw drop and think this is truely next gen graphics. I think this is a new scheme that the hardware companies...
Oops. I meant one for side vent, one for 212evo, and one for exhaust. Still happy as can be with this case. Most silent case I've ever owned. Now gonna have to do my main pc which is gonna cost. Realized my old galaxy 1000 watt psu is loud as hell and it's time to replace that thing first...
