Engine overheating?

Hmm. The radiator fan should come on when the temp climbs high enough, and turn off again when it cools off. On some cars it may run for a while after the ignition is off, but it should always come on while the vehicle is running when the temp climbs. It sits right behind the radiator so it's...

And you're sure it's the radiator fan running? Will it actually climb into the red if you let it idle, or when the fan comes on does it cool it off to normal? Also, what else did you have done besides the oil change?

Check to see if the radiator cooling fan is coming on when the temp starts to go above normal (I'm assuming it has an electric fan). Depending on what work was done, they may have unplugged the fan and forgot to plug it back in.

Jeep Cherokee - Rear Bumper

Quadratec has the bumper for $77. They don't seem to list the brackets or caps for your year though. May have to go with a junkyard or asking a local jeep club as people above said.

Question about cars at altitude

I dunno. You could have a slight problem in something like an O2 sensor that's not an issue at lower elevations, but keeps the PCM from getting the air/fuel mixture right as you go higher. Edit: Oh the thing is supercharged? That's really odd - a supercharger helps a lot with power loss at...

Question about cars at altitude

Higher altitude = lower pressure = less oxygen per unit volume to combust. Normally aspirated engines lose power the higher you go.

Transmission issue and engine damage

You probably didn't do any major damage. Since it's fairly new it should have a rev limiter to keep the engine from exploding.
