I'm trying to get an HD to work with an enclosure from Lacie, which used to house a DVD+/-RW drive (Lacie d2).
When I plug in a regular IDE HD into the enclosure, it isn't being recognized by Windows, and doesn't even show the "Found New Device" dialogue.

I've had this problem for a while now, and it's rather annoying. The buzzing sound is not from the fan...I bought an Arctic Cooler 5.2 and the buzzing noise is still there.
The buzzing varies depending on the program too. It's really bad with ATI Tool's 3d View. It' even worse when I play...
Or you can burn the wma to a disc using Windows Media Player, then rip it with your choice of program.
I recommend using a CDRW if you have lotsa songs.
