Just Got Inspected - Repairs Needed - Am I Getting Ripped Off?

Wheels off and on jack stands. I'm not crazy enough to work with the car being supported only by a hydraulic jack :)

I actually did the sway bar end links today for the fronts... Thought it'd be an easy 30min job per side max... The darn nuts were on REALLY tight. I ended up using a breaker bar to break the nut loose. Just a heads up on that part if you do plan to work on it... careful of stuck on nuts lol.

buying a new battery

I've always used DieHard Gold and Duralast Gold batteries. Both work great, the Duralast seem to have a higher CCA though, which is what I need for the winters here in NY. Both have survived the winters just fine though.

My brothers dog died from recalled dog food.

I knew of some people who would buy say frozen gizzards and just boil them up as dog food... No flavoring or anything... Not sure how good that was for the dog though. But the dog seemed to like it.
