Ditto. I have two G2's still going strong as daily drivers from 2009 and just retired my G1 about a year ago and still have a 520 in my other machine. The G3/320 is a bit slower in theory, right?

Agreed. That's pretty much been par for the course for several release cycles now in the SSD world. I have a feeling that these will be seeing a gradual rise in pricing and the 840 EVOs will start inching down in price.

FWIW, I've had a 40GB Vertex 2 going pretty hard in an OC'd Win 7 backup rig for nearly 2.5 years now and no issues.

11.6in (sub)notebook options?

IIRC, the 1810T (SU7300) & TZ (SU4100) will both outlast the Core i3 & i5 1830s on battery runtime, all other things being equal. If you're looking for maximum runtime, I'd definitely get one of the 1410 or 1810 models...if you need an additional GPU & CPU boost, then the TimeLineX models...

CoP was much, much better than CS. Probably not as fun as the original just due to having "been there, done that" already, but much less buggy. I'd be all over this sale if I hadn't bought all of those titles when they were new releases. Great deal.

I've also been seriously looking at the TimelineX 1830T models myself, but I just cannot help thinking they are $50 to $100 overpriced for what you get. If they had a USB 3.0 port or eSATA, a backlit keyboard, or even just better battery life, I could consider them worth the premium price...

I'd vote for the Q6600 myself if finances permit. Otherwise, you cannot go wrong with any of the newer Wolfdales like you mention. I have that exact same board in a backup rig and it's still working like a champ.

Correct. I bought the two smaller sizes. The 7" works a tad better than the 3.5" with its built-in antenna. The 3.5" is basically useless with the built-in antenna. The 7" works much better with an exteranl antenna plugged in but that sort of negates the whole point of buying the device to...

The 3.5" portable TV has no external antenna jack (the larger ones do, however) so I cannot connect another antenna to it. I am just saying, reception at my house isn't the problem---the problem is the combination of the integrated antenna + tuner on this little $20 TV.
