Technet Expiring!

Problem is that with a clean install, the keys won't activate any more after your subscription expiration. What does it take to start my own company? I guess I could be a "non-profit" company offering IT support. :p

I'm a little late to the party it seems, but Microsoft is terminating the TechNet subscription service. I just haven't had need to download or access keys in the last couple of months so missed the excitement, and never received an email stating the decision to terminate the service...

Grass/trees in video games...

If they want a photo realistic environment that is static, then sure, use a photo realistic image. But if you want that grass to move and be random in an environment, then it has to be computer generated. There may be a way some day if technology doesn't evolve completely to something like...

Sooo, if this is a Linux based OS, will it only play Linux games? If that's the case, who cares? They certainly can't play the 99 billion DirectX games out there, what's the point. I'd much rather see HL3 before anything else.

What I don't like is that they offer these "battlepacks" up front so there's no challenge from day 1 to upgrade and you almost need to get the Deluxe version to level the playing field from day 1.

CPU voltage, not option in BIOS/UEFI.

Is there any way to apply XTU settings without starting up XTU? Reason I ask is that my XTU settings are constantly reset after my laptop comes out of sleep.

Teamspeak 3 Server Was Working, now it isn't

OMFG! Sheesh! I just renamed the .exe to something else, added the new file to the firewall and BAM, it worked. Curious wtf is up with that? I opened DMZ and turned off firewall and it still wouldn't work. Do you think Comcast could block it based on filename or something?

Nevermind, I found flipping the PSU upside down with air drawing in the PSU from the top resulted in lower temps.

I have a Cooler Master Elite 120 SFF case. I have a Zalman CNPS8000b cooler. The fan from the CPU cooler (on bottom of image) will suck air DOWN, the PSU above it will be sucking air UP. They are about an inch apart. I can flip the PSU upside down and it can draw air through top of the case, but...
