"FedEx ground Residental delivery doesn't deliver on Mondays," I was told today by a Fedex CSR....

Had a package that, by FedEx's own website, was scheduled for delivery today. Delivery was never attempted (someone was home all day.) At 6:17PM EDT today the FedEx website lists the delivery as "Delivery not attempted, delivery rescheduled for next business day." I call to just ask...

Would you support a law that forbade the use of cell phones while driving?

Well, just another .02 here...........phone usage while driving is downright dangerous. As to the people who bleat "ban cell phone use in cars when they ban doing anything else in cars....talking, eating, turing up your radio, etc., etc.", all I can say is get into reality...

Yep........MB has really moved upward in longterm reliability......finished 11th from the bottom of the list in the latest J.D. Powers Long Term Reliability study. MB did beat out Kia, Jeep, Saab, Suzuki, Audi, Daewoo, Isuzu, VW, MINI, and Land Rover, but got beaten by everyone...

Will UPS allow you to pick up a package at the destination center before a first delivery attempt is made?

Well, if you call a UPS CSR, you'll get told no. If, on the other hand, you either know where the distrib. center is or have their phone number, and depending upon how "creative" you can be in your "story," you can probably pick it up. I've done it a few times with UPS, FedEx, and Airborne...
