who helped you with your coloring? who helped you with your first words? who taught you the alphabet? was this not all done by...
responsible parents......i know there are other ways to educate your kids...homework is one way and part of the parent/children bonding.
homework making one successful...not exactly...but it is a tool that makes the mind work...
and in turn, it may or may not make you successful...depending...
my experience was similar...and those who didnt do their homework or carried 50lbs. backpacks were usually the cholos/skaters who ended up tagging the neighborhood walls, and loitering by the liqour stores, etc...
