No Audio thru HDMI...HELP!

I had a similar problem and it turned out that I was at fault because I didn't realize that the HDTV has several audio settings. I can't recall now what i did exactly, but playing with these in "setup" mode got the sound rolling out perfectly. The other thought I had thinking about your...

This puzzle has me stumped!

GOT IT!!!! :D I went to the Linksys homepage and downloaded the latest drivers and worked them on and Desktop #2 is connected to the internet and I'm writing to you on that computer!!! Now to get Desktop #3 on the 'net, etc., etc., etc.

For no good reason I can see, other than a "cold boot," Desktop #2 is showing that it is connected to the IP# my router uses. However, I still can not connect to my broadband service with this desktop. So, I'll try the disconnect the net work, wait 5 minutes, disconnect the cable modem...

Remember the Hi-Val CD-rw/ free CD player deal of last summer at Office Max?

I phrased my question poorly, Yes, I know that some were shipped. However, this was an issue for some time because some people didn't get there's. And the next shipping date kept getting pushed out until the last I heard was that they were trying to get the last ones out in time for Christmas...

Asus Motherboard - Deal or No?

ZakPC, Your last post pushed me over the top and I ordered the Biostar M7VIG from Newegg for $53 delivered.:o I like to "mess around" with my systems, but I really need to have a manual. The name and quality of ASUS is tempting, but not enough for me. Thanks for all your help, guys!;)

Sorry to harp on this, but how can you tell if you have set jumpers right, connected the motherboard to the case, turned on the sound system, etc., etc., without documentation from some authoritative source? My MSI boards with VGA and sound were shipped with a manual (of course) and also a CD...

Warm deals on cable modems

The Toshiba PCX2200 rang up at BestBuy Saturday for $89.99 and also printed out a $50 MIR and a $20 MIR (nets to $19.99 + tax). Both MIRs went to BestBuy at Calais, ME. I'm happy. Also, our cable provider, Insight, has trouble with the Motorola modems, according to both BestBuy and Insight...
