Anyone Holding onto their 8800GT

I'm keeping mine too. Crysis runs very well after some fine-tuning, and every other game runs great at 1680x1050. I'll bite when the next killer game comes along...

GTX280 VS. R700 in 28 Games

It's been a while since ATI's flagship has outperformed nVidia's by this much. As we've seen several times in the last few years, having 2 GPUs on the same card does not always guarantee a clear victory.

Why bother rebuilding? If you had to rebuild, might as well do it on land that's at lower risk of flooding. I sure as hell wouldn't move back there.

I am writing a small benching application in c++ which is supposed to send me an email after every benchmark has run. I'm using the CMimeMessage class to create the messages, and CMimeConnection to send it. Body text must be stored in a cstring and added via the function...

very few remaining 9500s (if any) can still be turned into 9700 np's. You would need to get one that has the memory in an L-shape around the GPU, but don't be fooled by screenshots given at the store's web site (i.e. ask them to make sure that the ones they carry actually have their memory...

What you have to consider is that in this case, Mary and the "liberal girl" both actually WENT to college. That is, they were given the same oppurtunities. "Staunch conservatives", like the father here, don't realize that not everyone is given the same oppurtunity. These are the people welfare...

Anyone know of an app that keeps track of how much I've downloaded/uploaded? Cause my ISP limits me to 10 GB down and 5GB up per month, and charges me extra if I go over. Thanks for any suggestions.

what was the problem with the black R9500 (asking because I have the same one and I'm currently having some stabiity issues in UT2003)? sorry, but I can't really help you decide what card to get. Are you looking strictly in the midrange segment, or would you be willing to spend a little more?

task manager acting wierd

windows XP Pro SP1. EDIT: I just solved the issue. It was running in footprint mode.Changed it back by double clicking on the border.
