What's the fastest PCI (non-express) low profile videocard out?

My friend was fired for stealing office supplies. I think it was less than $10; although it isn't really relevant to this case, it shows that companies care about their stuff. a few dollars, a few hundred - they are likely to get onto you about changing video cards. psp or laptop are good...

yeah, having two usb cables should be enough to power a 2.5". i dunno about 3.5"; you'd have to look at the specs. if you don't mind using two usbs, i guess that is all right. i have a limited number of usb plugs on my laptop. This all depends on your situation, and what you consider to be...

Need a good (but relatively cheap) vid. capture card...

i'd check vcdhelp, but i'd get a $50 hauppauge card and use virtual dub... xvid codec. there is a lot of documentation on how to capture and encode on doom9.org. otherwise, if you don't want to spend the extra time to get your capture perfect, i'd get a plextor capturing device.

I am surprised to see Apex on here, hehe. I check fatwallet, gotapex, and these forums often. I'd agree with Apex with the VGA - I have problems with centering on all my LCDs and I suspect it might be the same with a DLP (not talking about overscanning either).
