MSI selling 6800NU as 6800GT

MSI is one of the best manufactures of computer hardware *the only reason they have lower prices, is becuase the company is chinese, and all their manufacturing is in china, and well in china there is something called cheap labor, where they pay very,very low wages.

i have the BFG 6800 OC, andi was able to unlock the pipes and vertex shader with no problems at all.

Low Temp With P4 3.0c

do the bios updates. I also have a MSI, but its a 865PE NEO-2 PFISR. Before i used to get ridiculous temp measurements even for my presscott (3.0ghz). I did the updates and now my cpu runs at 38 idle, makes sense becuase i put one of those ZALMAN (CNPS 7000, something like that) all copper fans...

GF 6800 vs Radeon X800 SE

the x800XL is for PCIe only!!! anyways yes i have the BFG 6800Oc, i got it for $260. For the price i think it was good, because i was succesful at unlocking the extra 4 pipes, and vertex shader with no artifact whatsoever. Plus i get to crank some juice outof it even more. Right now its oced...

Anyone have any benchmarks of 6800 nu regular vs unlocked?

i dont think you can unlock the piepes and vertex shader for the 6800nu PCIe. My Rig Intel P4 3.0ghz 120gb Sata maxtor MSI NEO2 865-PE PFISR (agp 8x) 1 gb of dual channer ram (ddr400) BFG 6800 OC (with 4 pipes unlocked and extra vertex shader. oced at 400/780)

How long till 9800 PRO is obsolete?

if i were you (and had a little money), i woudl buy one of those nv silncers( on ebay there like 14 bucks nEW), then flash taht 9800 pro into a 9800XT!!!!.

BFG6800GT Temp seems High

omg you guys, ive been hearing complaining about graphic card temp all the time. GPU's temp arent the same as CPU temps. I have a BFG 6800 OC, it runs idle at 53C. My frind has a GT it runs idle at 60C!!. The default warning temp for nvidia cards is 135C, doesnt taht mean anythign to you
