Any opinions/tips for my second build?

Well, technically, the 750gb should have a higher density per platter than the 160gb and would consequently be faster.

Is there any specific reason you want 2 drives? You could just get a 750gb spinpoint for $25 less and get 90 more gigs of space.

If you have fast reflexes and know how to aim, CS:S isn't really difficult at all. Honestly, I play it like it's UT or Quake and can usually drop 4 by running around like a retarded monkey. It's soooooooo much easier than 1.6. You can fire before you stop running and still have a good chance...

Awesome! Good luck with all that and make sure to check out the linux from scratch IRC channels. I started doing a linux from scratch install a few years ago and they were incredibly helpful.

Counter-Strike: I suck

Also, footsteps are moderately easy to trace in Counterstrike Source. Don't be afraid to prefire people right before you see them when you are at close range. I don't play much source, but I think you can still use sound to your advantage to wall people.
