Why am I more accepted by minorities than white people?

I've never understood this but I've come to the realization that minorities seems to 'accept' me more than white people do and I'm not quite sure why. I can seriously only think, not name, a handful of people (thats one hand) who are considered a 'minority' that I either don't like or they hate...

Well I had an idea that you would basically put a bicycle pedal of some sort in the car so that if the battery was dead, you could basically crank the engine your self from within the car..

How difficult is it to crank a modern engine by hand? I heard that in the old days that people would break their arms trying to crank an engine, why is that? How difficult would it be to crank the engine with your legs? How much torque does it require to crank an engine? Something like 100lbs or...
