Can anybody tell me what's going on here...? I have a 20WMGX2 and sometimes, when playing a 60fps game, there's tearing right in the middle of the screen and it goes away when I restart the monitor. The games btw aren't known to have tearing... It's not a problem really, but I'm just curious. If...

Ok it's working! well not on PS3 but right now I'm playing my ipod through my PC speakers, awesome! I messed around with my sound options and I had the line-in balance at 0... I did change to to higher but apparently I had to do it twice, one through speaker setting and one through the...

Well I'm not trying to use the speaker bar that came with the monitor, instead I'm running sound from my PS3 to the monitor and then to the line-in of my PC... The idea is to use my PC speakers instead of the one that came with the 20WMGX2.

hey can anybody help me with this 20WMGX2 problem... I'm trying to get audio from my PS3 to my PC speakers through the monitor... video is from an hdmi-dvi cable and audio is from an AV cable to the video 2 on the monitor... I set the monitor's audio input to video 2 and using the long audio...

Anybody knows what's the deal with the DVI-HD mode in the NEC 20WMGX2? I heard it makes the image look horrible, but I can't see it. What am I missing here? Maybe there was a revision and they fixed this perhaps...? o_O

Sorry I don't have a camera. I just read that dual link transmits more information and thought this could be a reason for the problem I'm having, I don't know... I switched the cable and saw an improvement in that brightness flicker... of course it could all be a placebo. effect or something. :P...

Thanks! The problem also improved noticeably after I took out the stock single-link DVI cable and switched it with a dual link one.

Oh man, the same thing just happened while I was just browsing the net. It's like the backlight is faulty or something, I don't now. Brightness level changes for a split seconds, like a flicker.... it's really obvious when you go to a site like 1up.com and stare at the gray sides for a few...

Sorry but do you mean the 20WMGX2 or is there another model w/o the "M"? edit: ok that's the european version, heh. I just wanted to know where did you hear about it having input lag? I thought it was one of the best LCDs available. *feels insecure about purchase*

Yeah, that's the plan. Just though I'd ask to see if there's something else I could do. I'll be getting blackout drapes soon, I was planning on buying them before purchasing the NEC anyway. And I could never get used to slow response time... :P Hopefully that's not the case with reflections...

I'm strongly considering an NEC 20WMGX2 but I'd like to know how it performs with a PS3 over an HDMI-DVI cable first... Does it scale properly or is everything stretched? I mean for both 16:9 games and 4:3 BC games. I heard it does but the picture looks horrible. Is this true? Thank you...
