Just started running again but...

Just keep doing it. Eventually the lung thing will go away. Try not to push your muscles into the pain area. Just tire them out, and then stop.

How do you know you want to do something (career wise)

I don't think us IT proffessionals (I'm an engineer) are better or worse as far as job security goes. I think that we're just about as safe as the local dude working at the oil refinery or the secretary at the dentists office. Jobs come and go, and ya just do what ya need to do when that times...

memory prices

While they've skyrocketed for the past 3 months or so, I've noticed in the last 2 or 3 weeks they've started to drop. Almost consistently every 2 or 3 days it drops a little bit more, which has actually turned out to be about a 5-10% drop over the past 2 weeks. While prices always fluctuate, I...

why is this computer so slow? ( Update! )

Sounds sort of like a bad motherboard. Try flashing the bios to the newest version, and also go into the bios and make sure all of the settings are correct. If everything looks ok, test another harddrive in your system. If it's ok then it's probably a bad harddrive. If it's not ok, I'd say...

In Canada, we are acredited through APEG organizations, which is the norm around the world (except of course the US). The problem the with APEG organizations is that they're all different, even between provinces. It still takes us another 4 years of experience, and some more testing to receive...

How long would it take to rip a DVD on my P3 system?

Takes my computer about 6 hours or so. It's a P3 733. Needless to say, I've only done it once. It's really not worth it if it renders your computer useless for most of the day.

27th at the store I will be buying it from, but will be totally different from store to store. Depends on availability (some stores have priority over others), shipping time, shelf space, etc etc etc. I bet we'll see them slowly coming to market between monday and friday of next week.
