I'm building a PC using MSI NForce4 Ultra MB (non-SLI) which uses the 24 pin power connector. My PSU is an Antec truepower 430 which is a 20 pin. I've read that this works okay but that the last 4 pins that are for PCI Express won't be powered. So if the video card lacks a molex and the PSU...
I see your using a 6800 gt. What a waste of power. It can play most games at 1600x1200, something your 17 or even 19" lcd monitor can't. If your looking at LCDs then spend more and get one that supports this resolution.
Hard OCP is very pleased with their MSI SLI board. Best OCin they have ever seen if your into that sort of thing.

Oh, and Bukka, I'm not ignoring your problem. Since I don't even have a vid card I can't even turn mine on. Just have to sit there and imagine how great it will be once turned on. Assuming you can get to the BIOS, play around with the memory settings. Latency and Voltage, etc. You can always go...
HardOCP is raving about the SLI version and how good it overclocks. Something to look forward to after I get my X800xl. LOL. Probably not before March something I would guess. Anyway, I noticed the SLI version has a better NB fan and a mosfets cooler. How can I get those for my ultra?
Slikkster, thanks for the info. Now if I could just ID which are the 10 pins and what their numbers are. It's not printed on the board and there are more than 10 pins coming from the back of the board. Thanks again.
I have an antec p160 case with an audio out on the front. Can I plug it directly into my Audigy2ZS? If so, can someone point me toward a pinout as the users manual is no help. Can't find anything on the website either.
Thanks!
Thought I was. I'll try it again when I install on the new system. Maybe use the Win 64 OS as a backup. If that doesn't work then I'll have to get a full install XP.
Thanks for all of the helpful answers.
I've reinstalled it before on my current system, trying to use the XP disc only but it refuses. It exits and says I must install Win 98 first. Maybe it's the version I have.
