Thanks tweakboy,.. it's only $20 so not that big of a deal... but it has been a while since I upgraded memory. I used to use Mushkin in my desktops.

I am trying to choose a memory upgrade for my Lenovo T530. CL 11 - Adata - $69.99 CL 10 - Corsair - $89.99 both are PC3 12800 DDR3 1600Mhz. I have not been able to find many reviews on the Adata, but have not found many complaints either. Anyone have experience with Adata memory...

ASUS X83Vm-X1

This is a Best Buy exclusive model... X83Vm-X1 It has an LED list display and some very nice specs... I am wondering if anyone has been able to install Linux on it or not? Thanks,

Bad Luck or Bad Model -- HP dv5-1160us -- dead pixels

I got a new laptop the other day and it had a bad pixel (my assumption is dead). I exchanged it and the new one had two bad pixels (I assume stuck -- one was white on black and the other was red on all colors but red but off on black). Am I crazy to expect a perfect LCD on a laptop display?

Apple is clueless when it comes to what non-consumer users need. Docking stations are non-negotiables in the company I support.

I downloaded mine from Microsoft Update and it took 35 minutes to download and install... no issues and only one reboot.

Windows 7 confirmed for 2010

In regards to UAC v. Mac Administrative functions... If you go and try to modify settings in Directory Utility you will need to put in your password; there are many other 'settings' releated utilities that require you to 'unlock' them before being able to see advanced settings or modify them...
