So I picked up the 58" Vizio today and it's good - probably fine. The slightly larger size is definitely noticed and anything would be better than the 1080p insignia that was there.
No issues with smartcast other than it bombarding me with useless recommendations so far.
I think 55" are off...
Good points for both -- though right now the Vizio subreddit is hammered with people angry about the latest updates breaking their TV's. Not sure saving $200 is worth the potential headache...
My living room needs a new 55" TV, basically the largest size we can fit in the space. I could go for a 58/60 as well but the models are limited obviously
So basically between the 55" Hisense U8G ($750) vs the 58" Vizio M7 ($550) -- is the 3" increase in size worth the trade off of a worse...
Yeah that i3-10105 is $90 at microcenter if I want to make the drive and I'm sure it'd be better than the 3400g but I just don't want to have another motherboard! Spare parts build!
Oh well, maybe I'll wait for a deal (Amazon did have a used 3200G for like 90 bucks for a few minutes that got...
I'm sure they are EOL by now -- but as for the GPU thing... they are essentially useless. I guess if you literally can't get a card to display your desktop for under 100 bucks I could see why...
Man I never should have sold my 2700x and ANY of my old video cards.
So I have a spare B350 board, psu, memory case etc. All I need for a decent Plex server/NAS. I figured I could get a 3200 or 3400g for about 100 bucks by now but it looks like they all go for $200+ (USA) if they are even available?
At that point it doesn't make sense right? I could just get...
I'm sure they'll be a bunch of annoying meat snobs in this thread, but in this case you can listen to them. Omaha streaks are terrrrrible.
If you can just get a hotdog and burger pack or something for cheap that would be the move. Don't bother with the steaks.
Thinking about trying it with my 3090FE but eh... 10 bucks a day isn't really worth the trouble to me. If anything happened to my system I'd be out a lot more time and money, probably more than I've made mining in 6 months.
I think 37 million people in a month is pretty good. The older people in my family have had no problems, got their first shot a week or so ago.
How fast do you expect it to be possible to administer vaccines? Need people to make, ship, store, track, administer them etc...
Very little to complain about here from what I saw. Will be funny seeing people trying to sell used 1080TI's for $500 still.
3080 for $700 seems great if they are actually available. Same for the 3070.
3090 looks good as a halo, I'm sure people will cry about it but they can charge whatever...
...what? This hasn't been been close to true for years in regards to an i3, but a 4900hs can beat a 9700k desktop processor these days in a $1000 4lb notebook. https://www.techradar.com/news/the-amd-ryzen-9-4900hs-is-faster-than-the-intel-core-i7-9700k
Sure, with 16+ cores being available...
