I emailed Nero once when I got burned on a deal like this. They said that all retail Nero (not locked to a specific burner) was sold in a retail package. So assuming that Nero employee is correct, all "CD only" sales of Nero will be locked to a specific burner.

Same address but different departments for the rebates. Both specifically state wanting originals for the UPC. They've been flexible in the past, but there seems to be concern of late that they're finally wising up. It seems like a very risky deal.

Sounds a lil shady to me but might be a hot deal

I've done it using free software a few times and it's a pain in the butt! But I'm sure the free stuff would seem easier if I did it more often. IF this software did as it says I would be tempted. I think it's telling that they haven't made a demo of some kind. They probably don't want you to see...
