Dlink Wireless PC Card on nx9010

Having a weird problem. Got a friend who has an old HP compaq nx9010 that has a weird problem. He bought and installed a D-Link DWL-G650 PC card on it, which works fine. Only problem is, every time you boot the laptop, the system doesn't detect the card. You have to unplug and re-plug it before...

Ok, so I hooked up a pcie sapphire x1950xt for my rigg to extend it's life a little before I do a complete system overhaul. The rest of my system is as my sig says. Only that my CPU oc is no longer stable (Im guessing it's coz of the gpu's higher power requirements) so I'm running the CPU and...

New Duke Nukem 4ever Screenie

They claim the actually have a statement from 3DRealms that says it's a genuine in-game screenie. Plus it's from a 3Drealms job advert http://jobs.gamasutra.com/jobseekerx/viewjobrss.asp?cjid=8914&accountno=95 But it does look like an action figure, lol. All plasticky and stuff.

Firewire not working!!!

Have tried the 3 diff cards on 2 diff slots. Still nothing. They cards install fine, they appear in device manager and network connections. Could it be the dv port on the camcorder.

Firewire not working!!!

No errors. Just no feed. Im using adobe premiere 7 Pro. It just tells me the firewire is offline. I've tried using ulead videostudio too. same thing.

Guys, Got hours of video to capture and edit, and for some wierd reason the firewire on my pc just doesn't work!!! I've tried 3 different firewire cards, 3 different cables, nothing!!! The silly thing is, I've capture video thru firewire on this cam before, just on another PC. I've tried...

X800XT Display Corruption!! Help!

Hi guys, Was dusting out my PC, took out my X800XT to clean it and dropped it accidentally. There's no physical damage I can see, not broken capacitors or anything like that, but now the display is corrupt! In DOS, in Windows, in BIOS! Did i just kill my card or could there be a way to fix...

OK, so I finally got round to OC'ing my asrock, this is what I have so far (no vcore/vdimm mods, bios v1.2): 1. CPU = 2.4Ghz, 240x10 @ 1.4v, RAM = 240Mhz, 2.5-3-3-10 @ 2.7v (high) - Prime stable 2. CPU = 2.5Ghz, 250x10 @ 1.45v, RAM = 250Mhz, 2.5-3-3-10 @ 2.7v (high) - Not 100% prime stable...
