Problem running FarCry Demo

I believe the demo runs at a lower quality level to ensure good frame rates on most machines When you play the game it will look better

help! OS won't load Asus a8v

Is all your bios settings correct? I had the same problem with my install... Auto was enabled in the voltages/cpu section I switched it to manual and set everything to stock install went great after

asus or MSI?

had an msi neo2 platinum.. difficult to set up started randomly rebooting, then eventually would'nt boot into windows. took it back and went with trusty old asus a8v the nforce boards seems to score a little higher in performance in some areas, but when you don't have a stable set up...

How best to put cut a hole for fan in window case ?

put the grill on the case mark the holes and trace the outer grill for your cut drill in the center of the area to start the cut use a dremel with a cutting bit to etch around the circle holesaw could be risky on the lexan.. but like was said it can be done if u take proper precautions...

ya you are stupid to overclock a $500 videocard, but its OK to overclocked a $800+ cpu... Too many guys asking for help in this forum... too many guys offering thier opinion on overclocking, and not helping with the issue at hand, Wether somone wants to OC or not is their own choice, not...

What's a NICE simple fan controller?

Well I would suggest what ever is at your local store, because by time you pay for shipping of a simple fan controller you'll be up to the $30-$40 for a decent one such as an aerogate or something.

1) many people have good success, a few don't, ensure you keep your card cool 2)you will gain a few fps in games, not a lrg margin I did it because I wanted to run at ultra extreme speeds 3) either will work, riva has more tweaks do some reading in the links I gave you lotsa info there
