my old comp it was originally synced to is at a house with crapppy internet that can't dl updates. installed itunes/updates on work laptop and it wont let me sync new apps cause "you are not authorized for them on this computer"

you can't compare cost of rent directly with cost of buying...it doesnt account for tax credits, inflation, or the fact that at the end of your loan you own the place...
