When using an ATA66/100 cable with my ata33 drive on slave it freezes

When I use my ata100 drive with a ata100 cable and a older ata33 drive slaved off the ata100 cable it freezes whenever I try to write to it. When I use a ata33 cable its fine. But my main drive gets slowed down.. Can the ata33 drive NOT use an ata100 cable? or is there something wrong with my...

Just added a blowhole..

Dropped my CPU temps about 5 degrees idle.. from 35c to 30c. 80mm blowhole. Had no other size fans. :( What I don't know is if its just the fresh air blowing on the temp reading device..

Anyone know the highest supported processor on the intel AL440LX? or have some experience with it?

My intel AL440LX will support 533 mhz with the latest BIOs.. (p14 or something like that)

Four red lights means: System Power ON It will start BIOs init. If it doesnt do anything else, the reasons for it not to work are: The processor might be damnaged, or not in correctly.

Does it take 3 mins to load while windows is up? or 3 mins to load during bios.. if its windows, reinstall windows.

Just to let you know your pc133 ram will run @ pc100 with that pc100 in your system.. Did it slow down before or after the ram upgrade? Did you add anything before it slowing down? Mess with the BIOs?
