Ivy i5-3450 to i7-6700k?

A 3770k runs me about $740 in Canada, an i7-6700k+mobo wouldn't be much more than that so I don't think it's a good option. However I can get a 3570K for $300 CAD which is reasonable. However if your saying that this would only give me 15% more than what I have now, wouldn't an OC'ed Skylake...

What's the deal with Elite:Dangerous?

If you were to buy the Standard beta + Expansion pass, you would end up paying $125. If you wait for release the game will be $50 plus maybe $30 for an expansion costing you only $80, $110 for two expacks. At this point I cannot justify buying the expansion pass considering you can buy 2 of em...

Recommended racing wheels?

Grid is pretty arcadey, so possibly lowering the degrees of rotation to 360 or less would be better? Simbin titles are defiantly better with wheels, with driving aids, can be fun for casual player.

Paper thin mousepads

The Logitech G240 feels really good to me, I like the consistency of feeling my desk underneath and not the cushion of the mouse pad. I had a QcK before, while it had better glide, It did not feel as "stable" as the G240. I also had a silicone Madcatz pad that was also very thin, unfortunately...

Recommended racing wheels?

You can get a refurbished Logitech Driving Force GT for $80-$90, all wheels have buttons on them so you always have that option, it also comes with seq shifter. As for games, Grid 1 works well with a wheel and is simple enough to play, you can probably get it real cheap in the summer sale...

Surely it can't be as linear as Tomb Raider? I hated the crap outta that game every 10min a fucking cut scene or QTE, Wolfenstein can't possibly be like this??

Anyone else looking forward to Wildstar?

can anyone tell me if the combat is deep in any way? Is there any strategy involved, would you have to approach different enemies in different ways or is it mostly repeating skill rotation?

I had fun with BC2 a few years ago, unfortunately the number of available server is dwindling, and many conquest games are usually a steamroll, Rush is ok though. Titanfall did unlocks very well, I had no issue with that, my problem was that in some ways it was worse than CoD when it came to...

This is the issue I had with Titanfall, getting matched with gen9 clans, usually during peak hour, was often unavoidable, so server browser may be essential, and some strategy on how to select a server can go a long way. Overall though playing against organized clans wouldn't be too bad if maps...
