Can you transfer files that aren't mp3s (or other music formats) to it? aka use it as a usb hard drive Do you have to install the Sync Manager? I've looked at the site and they seem to avoid this. (Which makes me think that the attractive answers are incorrect.)

Remember these? -- AOPEN AX4B-533TUBE PIV motherboard (Vacuum Tube Audio) -- $149 (AR) at Newegg

Supposedly tubes make better audio amplifiers. Something about "pleasing harmonics" if I remember right. I'd prob be more interested in a seperate audio card. Cool concept though.

why not? DjBaMBaM already went over this pretty well. Capacitors don't charge up to rated value and then start passing their charge on to the next capacitor in series. What will happen is the first cap will start to charge and continue to charge over it's rated value, which isn't good...
