Thanks for your reply! Nope, I haven't overclocked my CPU. I guess the 4690k will still be a lot better for gaming than the phenom 965 even when it is? I'm also doubting if I should wait for the new AMD GPUs, because Nvidia has a nice action (free Witcher 3 and Batman: Arkham Knight) going on...

Advice on upgrading my rig

Automatic Maintenance any good?

When I'm using my computer the icon 'Maintenance in progress' is still there. Strange that it doesn't stop automatically then, should I just stop it manually?

Automatic Maintenance any good?

Hi all, I saw in my taskbar that a maintenance is in progress. What does Windows 8 do exactly in this maintenance? Should I turn it on or off? Is my computer slower when it is in progress? Jarchris

CCleaner any good?

Thanks a lot for the advice. I'll think I'll be running CCleaner and System Ninja once a week from now on, to keep things clean.

I'll use CCleaner together with System Ninja once a week then. Is the disk cleanup of Windows itself still needed if I use these two applications? Also should I untick or tick any specific options in System Ninja? I thought maybe CCleaner has some common options, so I could untick these in...

I have a SSD too, should I use the cleaner option once a week or so then? What do you mean with the 'won't let you using the latest version' part? Does CCleaner also remove the files that the default Windows Disk Cleanup option removes?
