hey tecice I have the exact same problem as you.
I don't think the DDRII dual channel mode is working correctly for this board. I too am running 1.70 however i'm wondering if the windows flash worked properly as sisandra states that i'm still running 1.10 MPS I'm not sure what that has to do...

I have this ram as well but unlike Mr Vain I cannot get mine to work at all.
Im currently running 1 stick at 3-3-3-9 1T (flexibility option enabled) if I don't enable it and run at auto (SPD) it defaults to 725MHZ 3:8 divider and 4-4-4-12 and there are application errors right from windows...
correct well kind of...
my memory should be 4-4-4-12 667 but when i enable flexability it defaults to 3-3-3-9 533Mhz (as shown in CPUz) but i'm not sure of the accuracy anyway it's working fine now at thse settings.

Should I drop to 1 stick of ram and try a fresh windows install do you think my windows install is bugged as well as most applications seem to have a XX.exe caused a windows error and will need to close fault followed by a report this issue to microsoft.

When I install windows I got a kernel32.sys error then a reboot windows continued...
