Shutting down a game that will not shut down ....

running 3dMark2005 will let us know if your overclock is the problem. If you experience similar behavior, or if the tests will not run/crash to desktop, then it's probably the o/c. Can you run your machine at stock speeds and see if the same problem occurs ? cheers, --jb

Thinking about using an Access database to store a playlist (MP3 PLAYER)

too many variables still outstanding.. total # of songs to be loaded? there might be a maximum # of items in a list box, and if you have lots of songs (100,000 or more) you might crash the application, or use a lot of memory.. sounds like an interesting project, thou.. --jb
