From what I read MS has to approve the touch pad to make sure it meets certain standards. Makes sense I suppose.

I'm looking to purchase a new windows 10 laptop. Here's my issue, I need a touch pad that works like a Surface Book. I'm totally confused as to why some laptops have for example 4 finger swipe left/right for the virtual desktop. I was at Best Buy today and only found a handful of laptops that...

Spire Proxy Host?

I've been looking for one since the untethered jailbreak was released. I don't think its wise to pay for one because from what I heard is apple start blacklisting 4s's if there are more than 10 tokens being used. I think its pointless unless someone in your family has a 4s, then you can setup...

RAM upgrade, quick question

Thanks guys. Just did a update to my BIOS and got my 920 up to 3.69 on air w/out turbo. Can't get it over that, not sure if its the RAM or something else. I'll probably grab the 12GB, going to wait to see if NewEgg has any good black friday deals.

RAM upgrade, quick question

Thanks, I have 3 empty banks on my board so I could just get 6 more GB. I've ran into some issues OCing my 920 though so i'm not sure if having 6 2gb sticks would be best.

I currently have 6GB of OCZ Gold DDR3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227365 Lately when I play BF3, and return to windows i've been getting the low resources message. Would upgrading to this Gskill RAM be an improvement or should I get 6 more GB of the OCZ...

I'm not sure if i'm bottle necked or what. Its been a while since i've done any hardware research. But i'm running the game on 1920x1200, all settings at high except shadows and draw which are at medium. HABO is on, motion blur is off. AA is off and MSAA is at 1x, I'm averaging 55-65 FPS...

Why do I want an iPad?

Thanks guys. I don't really think I'd use it as much as I think I would so I'll probably pass on this one and maybe wait until the next one comes up in 2011, maybe it will have a few more bells and whistles that I'll find useful. I was hoping to hear that it would be more of a laptop...
