Missing external power supply for Antec ISK

Oddly enough I just had this issue. You can use standard 19v laptop adapters BUT you need to use the ones that take the fatter center pin. I used an old 120w universal adapter. Also, the power boards allude to them being 135w, from searching around it seems this may be true.

RB951G-2HnD vs TL-WDR3600 vs ??

I have a 951G in my FIL's place, great router for the price, does its job well and has a huge amount of customization and options available, almost too much for the average user. IMO, Mikrotik > Asus just on options alone

Can I specify which devices on same wifi network use which Internet connection?

I know I harp on this often, but a Mikrotik rb450 would do all the Cisco could do for cheaper with as many or more options. It would be a simple setup with very little power usage and zero noise.

Post your data backup strategy

Every pc has a backup drive with automatic backups. This is mirrored onto a win2k8 server every night, this is pushed to a drive in my shed once every three days. I keep a monthly copy of important things at a friends house and he does the same here.

My favorite thing to happen in the Middle of the Night...

This happened to my sons bed. Simple fix was to add a 1x6 down the centre and screw it all together, with the centre slats eing screwed into the frame. Now it`s solid and much stronger, you could easily triple the weight load without issue.

CPU performance matters...

I am pleased for you that you upgraded, it's always nice to upgrade from low end to much higher end gear. I must say though, the comparison isn;t fair, it's like saying you just traded in an Elantra and went to a Porche, they're not even close to the same category.

Router for a 30 person office?

I second this, an RB450G would be up to the task, or if you wanted to go overkill a RB1200 is enough for over 500 users (we have a customer with over 500 users all running data and voice through a 100/100 fibre connection, never a hiccup). http://routerboard.com/RB450G Hard to argue with...

Is it bad idea to run a router and switch without their housings?

Should be ok, I've run piles of gear without cases near each other for extended periods without issue.

Going VoIP and porting.

You could try voip.ms, it's been extremely reliable for me going on 3 years. If you were in Canada I could port the numbers for you through my work, set you up with a SIP trunk for about half of what you pay.
