If the seller says the Mobo has been "tested and worked" then it has obviously been used ---> so what hardware was fitted to the mobo, and how precisely was demonstrated to work ?? Because you are still having problems after having tried everything suggested, including different memory types...

Just in case your particular 2x2GB chips are a "bad load" for the Northbridge, I suggest you try manually setting "MCH" at 1.3v ? EDIT, And memory "Trfc" should typically be in range 52-62 ? :)

Based on reviews I also originally believed the HX620 was an excellent PSU and thus obviously the way to go for an upgrade from my Vantec stealth 520 ! How wrong I was. My first HX620 lasted about 6 months. After very few months use, there were what appeared to be "arcing/flashing/bangs"...

Gigabyte boards and BSEL mod???

Leave your BSEL mod or not, as it shouldn't matter to a GA-EP45-UD3P. The GA-EP45-UD3P is an excellent mobo with enough cpu/fsb/mem bios settings to enable most cpu setups to achieve extreme overclocks ---> so it should have no problems dealing with your E5200 ? An example of it's...

overclocking a 650i board

My 650 based Asus P5N-E has problems overclocking a q6600 higher than 3GHz ---> just not very good with quads! On the other hand, same mobo has no problems overclocking a E6700 to 3.6+ levels. So this is what I currently use. High overclocking my P5N-E is definitely affected as N/B gets...
