Worked here too. Cash register spit out the $30 receipt, but I had to download the $50 receipt. Also picked up the MS Wireless Ergonomic 4000 Kybd for $24 after rebate from another thread. Today is a good day to compute.

Also, I think I read on ihack that the firmware on the XT can be reflashed to the 20D, with the only major difference being the shots-per-sec capability. If true, very cool.

I'm a longtime TiVo devotee--get the box. Humax is a TiVo licensee and they're fine. Just like Dell doesn't make their own computers anymore (they OEM them from manufacturers in Asia) so Humax is simply OEM'ing TiVo stuff. They're well known within the TiVo community.

Reasonable deal. Used to be that you could only get a 40gb Series 2 for this price. My guess is that new models are on the way. If you're interested, it's very easy to upgrade the storage on these to 400gb or so for about $150 in parts. Good luck in any case.

BEWARE You may NEVER get your rebate. In the business news today the lead story was that Apex owes the chinese company it OEMS in the US hundreds of millions of dollars. One Apex executive jailed when he traveled to China. Bankruptcy possibly looms.

It's the usual Seagate retail box. I've seen them as low as $49, but here's still a reasonably good price. These drives work great for TiVo upgrades!
