What johnjkr1 said is exactly what to do...I had an illegal version of XP Pro and it would take 10 to 12 times of booting to the cd before I was able to fully reformat the HD. I ended up buying a legal version 1. Because it was the right thing to do, 2. I was sick of the hassles.
I have:
xp2200
TI4200
512 3200ddr
dla bla bla...
I ran the game at full graphics and it ran ok but not great. Lowered it to medium levels and the game fly?s except when I'm in the middle of a frag fest.
I think for the system you have you shouldn't expect great performance. Sorry...
You might need to update your bios in order for the m/b to see the HD. Just a side note, have you read through the manuals with step by step instructions?
First off, give us a little info on your sys. Can you see the bios info when you boot up? Check the cable from the lap to the screen; make sure it's attached securely. Can you go into safe mode?
I did a search on the net for your error and it's basically a general app error. I agree with amdskip, you should just start over and reinstall everything. When was the last time you defragged? being that?s it's not your computer ask her first so she can have the chance to back up her data.
Well it looks like you have narrowed it down to the cpu or M/B. Let us know how it turns out.
Looks like the M/B supports the 2500, but you can check it ouy anyway.
