[Retired] The LCD Thread

I'm looking for a lcd monitor for less than $220 bigger than my current 19" viewsonic crt. I'm looking primarily to play an xbox 360 on it and also as an alternative screen for my laptop and to play the occasional movie on. Any suggestions?

Trojan problem hijack log included

I managed to get a trojan downloader installed and can't seeem to get rid of it. I've run spybot search and destroy, ad aware, eido , and avg, and yet i stil have it and connecting to the internet cause the downloader to load my computer with spyware and more downloaders. here is my hijack log...

computer crashes at startup

Yeah i should have thought of that but in my rage against the machine just wanted to hit it. Oddly enough i just re-seated all the ram and all was well despite never having taken it out in the first place. Thank you for your help, jmk13

computer crashes at startup

after cleaning out my hs today and putting everything back in i started up my computer now t gives me the start windows normally or old settings speal and after i hit any of them the bar maybe goes half way or so and then the system resets. I can sit in bios just fine without it locking up...

Psu for under $110

lol. Yeah now that i have it I don't like it as much as i thought i would. Cheap build quality, plasticaly, overpriced,and lacking features.

Sry forgot to put it in my signature. New to forums Aspire X- navigator 500 watt aspire psu k7n2 mobo athlon 2500 @ 2.2ghz evga 6800 nu 1 gig of corsair value select 2 ide hds 2 burner (dvd and cd combo) Batmanual: yeah that was the other one i was looking into

Psu for under $110

I'm looking for a new psu for my computer. I have a 20 pin now on my k7n2 mobo. I'm looking to upgrade within in the year so i'm not sure if i should go for 24 pin. I was looking at the antec neopower 480 watt modular but i'm not sure if its worth the dough.
