here's info for the linkyo disks, should be either TY or OPTODISC, the link says that these TY are FAKE, but either way people seem to be having good results

I wasn't getting any errors for a while when i changed the speed from 2.5-3-3-7 to 2.5-3-3-8. that changed the clock speed from 166 to 200. I thought all was well, but i came back to 2 errors each 1 bit off, compared to the previous 1 error 2 bits off haha. I asked my bro to check his ram...
just curious, but how does bad ram affect system use? debating whether or not to rma this back... if i hadn't run memtest then i'd probably just install the ram and think that everything was fine since it worked
it might be possible to get a shipping refund... i received a monitor from them during the samsung deal, but it had a scratch on it, so I called their rma dept and they told me they'd give me a shipping refund (it took about 3 calls to finally be credited.. but I was offered it on the first :) )...
ok, i'll try that out today. I was actually using memtest96+ from memtest.org. Hopefully running memtest 3.2 will show me something different :) Thanks for the help!

hm... =\ mine picked up errors within a few minutes. it was my first time using memtest as well so i took a screenshot. http://www.geocities.com/juggledeeznutz/memtest.jpg I let memtest run overnight for 8 hrs and I think it recounts the same errors..but I'm not exactly sure.. but if someone...
i purchased this ram from newegg when it was 88 earlier this week, but when i ran memtest i got some errors, are errors worth sending this ram back for replacement? and how often does ram have errors in memtest??

were there any physical defects on the disks? I got 100 of the 1x -r's a while back and a good amount of them had ink blots and little areas where there was no film... still can't complain for the price i paid :P how are these looking so far? Do you verify your compilation after burning? thanks~
