No way! I am almost done modding my controller ports to be, well, controller ports! I can now plug in my original NES controllers, and play NES games on my NES PC! (emulated of course!) I will update the main site with pics soon enough! BTW, You have to be the _only_ person to say his is better...

The motherboard was a little difficult to source, but I ended up going to pricewatch, and searching for "freetech". There was only 1 company that showed up as selling FreeTech components (KRI Computer I think), so I gave them a call, and asked if they could special order this board for me, turns...

Thanks for the links to the NES PC on eBay! I can't beleive that sold for $910!!! I might have to sell mine! (Or make another one to sell!) Also, Thanks everyone for the compliments! (And yes that is a KFC monitor ;) ) And yes, a fair amount of patience was involved, and I'm still waiting for...

Thats the plan for now, I went and got my old NES controllers last night, and somewhere on the net (have the link somewhere) there is schematics to wire them up to your paralell port, which is what I plan on doing. Also, got my second PCI video card last night, and it works great! The first one...

CompUSA 6-hr sale starts 6PM 3/21

Scored a Hard Drive. Got there at 5:30, and they handed out numbered certificates at 10 till 6 to ensure that the people who were in the the front of the line got the good sh*t first. :D

HOT Siemens Speedstream SS2624 wireless router 32.29AR + tax @ OD

I ordered mine Monday (20th) and it was set to ship on the 23rd. Checked status on the 23rd, and it had changed to the 24th, so I checked status today, and it now says "Delivered Short Shipped". I was like WTF? So I called and asked what that meant, and aperently, it means they only shipped...

Super flaming hot!!! Maxtor 40GB 7200rpm HD for $9.99 AR @OfficeDepot - DEAD DEAL

Got my last $30 Rebate check yesterday! I got mine at the B&M on the last day with a $15 off coupon. So for me total cost was: $80.80 -$30 -$30 = $20.80! not bad at all for a 40gb 7200 rpm drive!

Finally got here! Looks like it is a Diamond Max Plus 8 drive, specs here: http://www.maxtor.com/en/products/ata/desktop/diamondmax_plus_8/index.htm Comes in a nice looking (thinner than normal) casing with fluid dynamic bearing's and ATA133 support! Not bad for $34.64 (after $30 rebate)!

I got my Office Depot rebate today too! This was the one from Walled Lake, MI - The one that was taken down off the website after a couple days. Now if the Maxtor rebate would hurry up and get here, I would actually have no more rebates out at all!
