Look @ the Ahanix Silent X psu, VERY VERY VERY VERY quiet, they claim its ~14dba, however I think its more liek 18dba (like anyone can tell the difference =P). Waterpump: no doubt go with an Ehiem 1048 or 1250. They are quiet, have less chances of vibrating, and will not leak/overheat etc like...

What's a good company to buy blue led fans from?

The Galaxy Fans are brighter. They are of very good quality also. They are actually YS Tech OEM fans, I wouldn't expect anything but the best from them. But in my experiance generally, the Coolermaster ones have been problem free, though if one of 2 were bad i wouldn't be surprised. BTW Galaxy...

Problem with Vantec Nexus 301 transistors?

Nope never heard a single thing. We've gone through a couple hundred of these and no issue's with them at all. I'm sure if there was a situation we would have known from Vantec. But If I hear anything I'll let you guys know. -JokerF15

Power Supplies w/ Sata connectors

Thermalright SLK-800 vs SLK-900: big difference?

The motherboard compatibility is less. Look for the 947U although it may be slightly more expensive it has more motherboard compatibility than the 800U AND the 900U. It is basically the 900U redesigned to allow more clearange of items that may be around the socket area. -JokerF15

Thermalright SLK-800 vs SLK-900: big difference?

With the Same Fan, the 900 Series would be about .25 - .5 C better (if at all). The Key is with the 900 series you can use a 92mm fan, basically you can push the same CFM but be quieter or have the same noise level as an 80mm fan and push more CFM. -JokerF15

Well generally that rule works well, but the V7+ is a different product, it was not designed or even produced by Thermaltake. It was relabelled. It does not follow the same pattern as the rest of their 'Volcano Line'. It is a different heatsink design, and a better method (at the time). It uses...

liquid cooling question

Well People do use Anti-Freeze in their Watercooling setups to prevent corrosion (although there are better solutions). If you want something just for looks, Green UV Dye is the best way to go. You can also use a highlight and dip it and squeeze out all the 'juice' into the water, it is also UV...

Nice Black Case...PSU optional
