If you wanted something a little more fun (and slightly more pricey), I'd say go for a 2006 BMW 330xi sedan. They run right around $26K. Buuut, that may be a little small for what you need. Have you considered an Acura RL? 2005-2007 runs right around $24K, give or take a couple grand. They are...

Q9550 E0 - Not Getting the Numbers I Was Expecting

The recommended max vcore for the q9550 is 1.35... is that really not enough to even hit 450 FSB?

Great "Switch to Linux" Guide

It's amazing how Ubuntu has breathed life back into the idea of dual-booting or even going all the way and switching completely to a Linux desktop. Not since Red Hat 9.. Or maybe Fedora, but I never really liked Fedora so I tend to ignore all things related, haha.

Upgraded video card = downgraded performance?

cmon guys, see the real problem here. it's an HL1 game, and all HL1 games enable vsync by default unless turned off in the Forceware CP. turn off vsync and you'll be hitting 100FPS again in no time.
