I believe the option to add a charger and mounting kit is an additional kit (e.g. so you don't have to bring the mount with you when you're driving a second car)

same here. that combined with AmEx Costco rewards card which gives 3% for restaurants (everything from fast food to fine dining) and 2% for travel (plane, car rentals, hotels, etc.) = mucho rewards
