Anyone here work as an EMT or Paramedic?

Thats how it is out here in Colorado. All the firefighters have EMT training (my roomate is a firefighter), but paramedics always take over when they arrive on scene, and they always do the transport. Paramedics cost a lot less than firefighters...

Is mWave good place to order?

I've ordered from mwave a few times, nothing bad to report. I've also had to RMA a video card to them, and it went smoothly.

Bowlers.. recommend me a new bowling ball..

The pro shop at my league gives a discount if you are in a league. Something like 15% off. I got my ball after I joined my league because of this.

CPU dead?

Well.... tried two different psu's, memtest, and many different hard drives. ALL components except cpu and mobo have been tested in another machine. The cpu won't work in the k8nsc or the asrock dual.

Thanks for the help. I never flashed the bios, I'm going to see if asrock will mail me the most current bios chip. I've gotten pretty good at this thermal paste thing, although I suppose it's a possiblity. I'll check for that. Time to find a buddy with a socket 939 system to check my...

CPU dead?

A few months ago my computer randomly died. Would make it to post around 1/10 times. Would lock up in windows shortly after. The setup was: Opteron 165 @ 2.2ghz 2x512mb of mushkin pc3200 gigabyte k8ns-c x800xl agp antec 420 watt psu lite on dvd rw drive 2 ide hard drives xfi sound...

Exactly. In Colorado, if you hold the child out as your own for 2 years.... you're paying for life.... The state will also pay and force paterntiy testing. It's all about making sure the kid grows up, and mom doesn't end up on welfare along the way... the state doesn't want to pay to raise kids.

Front/rear differential fluid changed 3k miles ago, now mechanic says I need it changed again!

Start changing it yourself. Diffs are easy to change, and you'll be able to notice shavings.

To those who shave their domes....

I went to my local beauty shop, and bought a shaver called the "balder" made by Wall. It gets it really short, about the length of a day's growth. I can shave my entire head in a few minutes after getting used to it. Much quicker than using shaving cream and razors.

Why is the 357 Magnum so well known?

Because you can train with the cheaper .38 special in the same gun, which also is much nicer on the wrists. As far as handguns go, a pretty effective caliber.
