I've tried a belkin and i've tried an netgear and i can't do a damn thing with them
Backstory:
With my modem (Dlink DCM-200) connected to my computer my internet flies as it should.
Unplug it and try to use the setup disks that came with each router and the modem either can't be found...
Buddy of mine suggested belkin, i really know nothing. Might check out the ads and find a cheap linksys (or what do you suggest)

I have cable internet that just flys like it should when connected from modem to computer.
When I plug it into my router (Belkin Pre-N) it drags and goes stupid essentially.
I have it going to 2 computers via cable and a laptop wireless one in a great while.
