HP ML350 CPU Fault, Data recovery

As long as the RAID controller is intact, the RAID level will still be there. But like you said, most likely RAID5. I don't see it being anything else (production server?). What generation is the ML350?

Jumbo Frames - Enable them!

Which part of my statement don't you agree on? I said they make a big difference when needed. And when not needed they can do the reverse. EMC is of no exception to this; with 1gbps or 10GbE. If you are peaking at 1GB/sec then you are definitely running a 10GbE or a 10x1gbps LAG, or 10x1gbps...

DNS not updating for single network

Jumbo Frames - Enable them!

On your SAN (if truly an iSCSI SAN) I can guarantee you the manufacture recommends enabling jumbo frames. They do make a big difference, when needed, and when configured properly. They can also hinder performance where not needed and when improperly configured.

Sump pump backup batteries

You need a deep cycle battery. I used an Optima blue top in one for my cars for 10 years and it still runs great (battery that is, not the car lol). Reason I got a blue top marine batt was due to the frequent discharge and recharge of the battery I needed caused by my sound system. Awesome...

Using one and its working for me. Also working for two of my buddies. I have another 3 buddies that tried it but they used it in combination with cigs and now months later and they are still using both. Stick to just the vap and it'll work for most.
