Monitor-no signal

I have a benq 24 inch(about 3 years old). I put together my new pc, hooked it up to the monitor and turned it on and i kept seeing "no signal". I decided to try HDMI over the normal cable(its the white one with 2 sets of prongs and single flat prong). Still the same result. Wondering if it...

Help with my build(gaming machine)

Ah ok, after reading that because i had vista ultimate id have to upgrade to 7 ultimate its more efficient for me to just buy home professional full. I also see that OEM for system builders is alot cheaper, would it be better for me to purchase this? what are the cons to buying that version.

ah good to know, thanks, also, does anyone know about my windows 7 question? The computer i built before that has vista will not be used any longer, so would i be able to use that version of vista then upgrade to 7(to save money from buying W7 full)?

thats the thing, the disc seems to be in perfect condition, but i decided to download W7 online and use that to upgrade, because luckily i have the product key so i just need the software

Tablet for engineering

I am headed off to uni as an engineering student and wondering if a tablet is a good choice for me? I was originally planning on getting a laptop to game with and use for notes in a few classes(not many since mathematics notes are easier written). I am now considering getting a tablet as well...

VinDSL, thanks alot for the post, i actualy hadn't spent alot of time looking at HP prior to your post, however i am going to look over their options again before purchasing. rchiu, the Video card is actualy one of the main reasons i am interested in the vaio, Its a solid card for the price.

New laptop advice

As of right now i have a pretty solid gaming desktop, the problem is i will be living in a dorm and don't really have a lot of room, so i don't want to clutter up the room with a desktop.
