Hi guys,
Does anybody on this forum uses quad-core cpu, and if so, what BIOS do you use ?
I intend to get quad-core cpu e.g. q6600, but I'd like to stick to F7 BIOS.
Will this CPU work with F7 BIOS ?
Cool, but is the mem running at 800 Mhz (or above) ?
I'm asking this question cause I'm going to get another 2x512 MB kit.
The problem is that somebody told me that Intel P965 had some kind of limitation that
prevented mobo from runnning with 4 mem sticks higher than 666 Mhz. I think that's...
Purple ports are controlled by Jmicron - they provide full SATA300 compatibility and options
like AHCI mode, NCQ, Hot Swap, RAID
Orange ports are controlled by ICH8 - they run in IDE Mode thus they dont provide features mentioned above.
Yes - its safe to move HDD with OS from orange to...
#1 I read articles about mobos being capable of activating/deactivating cores
Try searching BIOS if there is such an option.Perhaps new drives messed up with BIOS
#2 Some boards with intel p965 chipset have Creative sound cards incompatibilty issues
Try updating BIOS. (Although my...
DS3 rev 1.0 also uses solid capacitors. The letter 'D' from DS3 stands for 'durability', while
identical S3 version of this mobo uses normal capacitors.
Try this:
1. Go to Devices Manager
2. Uninstall PIO Device
3. Reboot
4. Let Windows detect new device on startup
5. That should do it (I had similar problem with my DVD - it helped)
Does anyone know whether or not DS3 supports DDR2 1066 ?
I'm aware that there is x4 ratio in BIOS that theoretically allows memory to run at 1066 (with FSB running at 266),
but will it work ?
