2.5 -> 3.5 mounting bracket with same connection position?

I have an Alienware X51. I'm installing a 2.5" SSD to replace the 3.5" HDD. Problem is that it's a "slide in" connector. A typical 2.5" to 3.5" bracket changes the position of the SATA connector because it centers the 2.5" ssd in the middle of the bracket, therefore I can't "slide in" the 2.5"...

SATA jumper change == format?

I finally upgraded my motherboard so that it supports SATA2. My hard drive has been set on SATA1 (1.5GBIT). If I change the jumper on my hard drive to support SATA2 (3.0GBIT) will I need to format the hard drive? I know it won't give me a speed increase since hard drives can't go that fast...

how to change the new mac mini memory?

The new mac mini now has 2 slots for memory and is in a different location (different from the tutorials available today) anyone have a guide + photos as to how to change the memory on the NEW mac minis?
