partition magic has a bad habit of trashing your hard drive (kind of) in certain curcumstances. The worst is if you have a power outage or if it hangs up during a resize operation and you power down and reboot. Your hard drive will no longer be accessable.

As cheap as monitors, printers, etc. are, just get new ones here. Saves the trouble of packing them up, also. I just bought a 19" NEC MultiSync MS95 at a yard sale for $20. Printers go for $10 & up.
It's a "utilities" partition. When you boot the computer if you press F12 - my 8300, anyway. Your's might be different - you will get a menu of bootable devices. When you select that partition you can check various parts of the computer. You can delete it if you think you will never need to use...
