Core Temps in a Q6700

I currently have a Q6700 with a Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120, with a vcore set to 1.256v at 333 x 10 (3.33 Ghz) I noticed that there is a difference between the core temperatures Core 0 and Core 1 are (on average) 2-3 C hotter then Core 2 and Core 3 Ex. just idle the C0 and C1 temps...

Asus Maximus (X38) support for 4GB individual DIMMS

Can the Asus maximus formula handle 2 x 4gb ddr2 ram (or more generally can the X38 do this) See link for this ram http://www.pccanada.com/viewitem.asp?id=7425 Kevin I know it can do 4 x 2gb no problems (with the right bios)

RAM Timmings

I have 8 gb of ddr2-667 on my Asus Maximus Formula running at the standard 333 Mhz. I have the ram timmings set to 5-5-5-15. The RAM is generic K-Byte 2GB modules but they have the Micron D9 chips. I had these modules in my old gigabyte board running at 4-4-3-9 with no problems at all. After...

I just want to have a stable system with no problems, and from what i have been reading 1.152 seems low (long term affects??) Cooling is the OCZ Vindiactor with an Nexus 120 mm silent fan running at full 12V Kevin

intel software oc utility

when the x38 chipset was releases, intel was showing software called "The Extreme Tuning Utility " that allowed for software overclocking fo the x38 chipset. Can anyone provide a link to download this utility. I hate using the Gigabyte EZ Tune software Thanks Kevin
